After teaching a masterclass to Warwick University’s Street Vibe in March 2012, Broken Rose Artistic Director performed with them a second time at Warwick’s end of year carnival Summer Party in June 2012.

After debuting at Contact Theatre in October 2011, Broken Rose’s open stage dance and spoken word event went on to form Flow! #2 at the 24:7 Theatre Festival in Manchester, in July 2012.
Flow! #2 brought together dancers and poets in an extraordinary fusion of movement and spoken word.
This video documents Round 1 of the open stage show, where dancer and poets were randomly put together to perform duets.

Broken Rose Artistic Director performs with Warwick University’s Street Vibe at their annual show “UNLEASHED” after having taught them a brand new routine in a 6 hour workshop.
A previous Street Vibe President, it was an honour for Gemma to return to the group as a professional.

At the beginning of March, I ran a 6 hour hip hop and street dance workshop for warwick university’s Street Vibe, teaching them some new dance techniques, a hip hop style that begins to echo contemporary dance, and a routine that was performed (with myself) in their annual show, UNLEASHED at Warwick Student’s Union.
